Civilization III - No CD Patch?

I have the official Civilization III game, and am looking for the no-CD
patch for the latest patched verson 1.29f. I am installing on a laptop as I
will be heading out for a couple weeks and would prefer not to transport my
CD's as well. Thanks!

The newest I have seen is only for 1.27. But Civ3 uses SafeDisk 2 as copy
protection, so I think you should be able to make a disc image easily and
run it with Daemon Tools.

Thanks, will try that. Just was hoping for a no-CD patch so as not to
consume so much drive space. Have an old laptop with 30GB HD... so you see
my dilemma...

Thanks man! That did it! Whew. Save me 700MB on my tiny 30GB HD on my laptop
if I were to mount iso with Daemon Tools.

I had it until I recently uninstalled the game. Try www.megagames.com; I have a
hunch that that's where I found it.
